Blood Veil is a darker novel than Red Masquerade. This is a dark, gothic romance, and thus entails darker themes. 

CW: blood and gore, profane language, slut shaming, misogyny and sexism, classism, loss of pregnancy (not FMC), characters bitten against their will (by vampires), threat of death, threat of assault, murder, smoking, drinking, cannibalism?, physical and emotional abuse by a family member, suicidal ideation, and explicit sexual content.

Will there be a book 3?

Red Masquerade and Blood Veil are a duology, meaning there are only two books in this series, focusing on Helena and Vince. However I may revisit this world one day and write about other characters and couples from this series!
